Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 - Health Reform: Implications for Employers
THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO THE HR CERTIFICATION INSTITUTE FOR REVIEW.
Our February GPSHRM Chapter Meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at New World Landing. Networking and Registration begins at 11:15 and a buffet lunch will be available until 12 noon, when our program will begin.
We are pleased to welcome Peter Heckathorn, VP of Sacred Heart Health System and President of Sacred Heart Medical Group. Peter will be presenting "Health Reform: Implications for Employers". Items to be discussed include: Healthcare delivery models being considered and their potential impact on reducing claims cost and maintaining quality; The HR Professional's changing role and strategies needed to effect population health changes; What questions HR Professionals should ask when considering services to implement in order to manage population health changes. Please RSVP using the RSVP link on our website. RSVP's must be received by Monday, February 8th. It is important to RSVP so that we have an accurate head count for lunches.
The meeting cost is $15 for GPSHRM members and $25 for guests. If you are currently a member and plan on pre-paying for your lunches when you submit your 2010 dues, please let us know that when you arrive. If you attend as a Guest and join the chapter within 30 days of the event, you will receive a $10 discount on your current year dues.
Also, if you RSVP for the meeting, but cannot attend, please cancel your RSVP within 24 hours of the meeting. Otherwise, you will be invoiced for the cost of your lunch. Thank you for your assistance!
