Choice and Purpose

The Importance of Teambuilding

Speaker:  Bobby Dove

Special Operations Wounded Warriors

Overview:

Captain Bobby Dove served as an elite Green Beret medic in the US Army Special Forces. Bobby was injured by an IED, while on combat patrol in Afghanistan, resulting in amputations of his dominate hand and leg, as well as many other life threatening injuries.  Through his dedication and hard work, he returned to duty 7 months after his injury and deployed again on a non-combat deployment.  Since medically retiring, Captain Bobby now owns and operates Hooligan Charters.

No matter what he does, Captain Bobby is determined to succeed. He is passionate about and invests an enormous amount of time with nonprofit organizations that strive to help wounded service members re-enter the workforce.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Special Operations Wounded Warriors. He has vowed to continue to succeed by taking his life and recovery into his own hands, and to help others do the same.  He plans to use Hooligan Charters to provide for his family, promote community involvement, and assist other service members in need.

This event has been approved for one (1) HRCI and SHRM credit.
